I hate to ask the obvious, but have you bought MS Outlook? MS Outlook is
part of the MS Office suite of applications, which doesn't come with Windows
XP.

If you have bought it, it's simply a case of importing all of your mail from
Outlook Express, along with your contact information. The Import option
should be off of the File menu.
