I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to make MSN
Messenger rather than Windows Messenger the default IM
program in Outlook Express. I had set up my address book
to include all my Online Contacts in Outlook Express when
using Windows Messenger, but recently decided to switch
to MSN Messenger. After doing that, Outlook Express no
longer displays the status of each user in the Contact
panel in Outlook Express. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Greetings Mark,

Unfortunately you can't, currently only Windows Messenger is the only "default instant
messaging" client from Microsoft that supports that option and as such, you cannot have your
MSN Messenger contacts shown in the Outlook Express contacts pane.
