Hi,
I am newby to this forum, I hope you can help me with my problem? I am
running window xp home edition and recently I had to restore my computer back
to its original condition. After doing this I have been receiving the
following message upon starup:
Automatic Update Agent
KEY 'Alice Systems' is missing in the registry
OK
I don't know what it means, it comes up everytime I start my machine and it
does not give me any options other than click the OK button.
Can someone point me in the right direction as to correcting this matter
please?
I am not very computer literate so it would have to be in easy to understand
instructions.
I have tried to reset my comuter a few times since and the same thing
happens every time.
I am at a loss and any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I did as you said and couldn't find anything that looked like the
problem. I am still in the same position as I am a little wary of changing
anything as I don't really know that much about the workings of the computer.
Any other advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi, Thank you sooooo much for the info. I did as you said found the little
bliter that was causing the problem, it was to do with a Vodafone thingy that
must have installed itself when I connect my phone to syncronise it. Once
again thank you very much & keep up the good work.
These sites are excellent for us dummies.
with kindest regards
