I installed KB938979 this afternoon. Since then I had to reconnect my
Logitech MX5000 keyboard and mouse after every reboot. Even after
reconnecting it I couldn't type straight. The keyboard icon on the taskbar
kept flickering. When it was there I could type, when it was gone I could
not. Very frustrating. De-installed KB938979 and now it works again. You guys
might want to hold off on distributing this one in the weekly update.

FYI: Windows Vista Ultimate, Logitech Setpoint 3.30.165

If you need more info let me know

Thanks for that link! I checked for updates from inside Setpoint when I
identified the problem yesterday, and took its "no updates are currently
available" as being true.

Will test this as soon as I get home.

Setpoint 4 did the trick! Thanks for pointing it out.

The bizarre twist here is, that Setpoint 4 doesn't come up when looking for
software for the Mx5000 set (your link was for a Di Novo set) but works like
a charm with it Smile Thanks again!
