After a recent Microsoft update i notice that when i launch my internet
browser Google, that none of the previous serches i have done are available
any more.
Before with nothing in the search line you could use the down arrow key and
see previous items serched for.
Any idea how i can get this back?.
I am sure its just a tick box but i have tried most of them and am getting
nowhere.

If they were deleted because of the update, you cannot get them back.
However they will begin to be saved again.
It's as though you deleted them and are now starting anew.

Internet options---general tab--browsing history settings button--put X in
'automatically'.

Very sorry, I have no knowledge of Google as a browser. I use Internet
Explorer. Recheck your internet options settings. Does Google have it own
settings?

One other thought. In internet options--browsing history--how many days are
you set to save the history?
