Post subject: Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>vista>general (more info?)

About a week and half ago I got the message "Internet Explorer cannot
display the webpage". I am running IE7 on Windows Vista.

I'm using a HP laptop on wireless, howvever problem exists on wireless
or when connected directly via cable.
No selected webpage display,
I've run diagnose connection problem, and no problems found,
I have 2 other computers connected to the same connection, one via a
wireless and have no problems, (both a running on XP)

The strange thing is that I can still run my email account.

Any suggested how I can fix

Hi,

Control Panel/Programs and Features, click on the link for viewing installed
updates. See if KB937143 is listed and try uninstalling it as it has been
reported to cause this problem in some cases.
