The process is copy and paste not copy and save as! If you paste text
from a website into a notepad file you can use Save As to name the file
and place it in a location on the computer you choose. Saving files to
the Desktop is not a good idea as it will slow loading of the Desktop.
You want only shortcuts on your Desktop.
