I highlight some text on a website, right click, and copy the text. I go start,
programs, acc, and left click on notepad, click save as. When I click
"save as" the menu that appears has "Computer" as the save to place.
Can this be changed because I never save there, only to the desktop
TIA for your help.

Murkey

The process is copy and paste not copy and save as! If you paste text
from a website into a notepad file you can use Save As to name the file
and place it in a location on the computer you choose. Saving files to
the Desktop is not a good idea as it will slow loading of the Desktop.
You want only shortcuts on your Desktop.

Hope this helps.
