Good Morning Folks

I have a situation that I can't figure out. I'm using XP Home sp3.
When I right click the desktop and click properties I do not have all
the display tabs for making display adjustments. The only tab
available is Themes. No other tab even shows up. Same when clicking
the Display icon in Control Panel. What has been broken?

Thanks

Jess

It is best to reduce the possibility of malware infections and then
provide additional information if the problem persists:

Reduce the chances of malicious software by running some scans.

Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware
detection programs:

Malwarebytes (MBAM): http://malwarebytes.org/
SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/

These can be uninstalled later if desired.

Click Start, Run and in the box enter:

msinfo32

Click OK, and when the System Summary info appears, click Edit, Select
All, Copy and then paste back here.

There would be some personal information (like System Name and User
Name) or whatever appears to
be only your business that you can delete from the paste.

Very good.

Did the 2 scans report/resolve any issues and are the tabs still
missing?

When the scans run clean then fix the missing tabs.
