Folder Settings

I hope someone here can help. For some reason many of my folders are
displaying incorrectly as music folders when they should be, for example,
picture folders. I've tried everything I can think of to reset. it. The
worst is that my ENTIRE "My Pictures" folder lists "music tasks" on the left
and I can't find a way to change it. I don't know what this feature is
called so I don't even know what to search for. I've tried folder settings,
properties and so forth without success. Can anyone help?
