My daughter had some problems with her Dell laptop and a friend cleaned it
up, installed some new memory and replaced her CD drive. Now she tells me
that she needs to double click to do most mouse operations, including things
I've never heard of before such as minimizing and closing windows. She
checked all mouse / touchpad settings related to double clicking but can't
find any that pertain to these sorts of operations. Is there somewhere else
such options are set?

Thanks!

Mark

Thanks Unk. But I think that works for openning and closing folders but
don't think it did anything for minimizing or closing windows. I'll try it
again to see for sure.

If you go to control panel--mouse--buttons tab--what do you have left button
set to?
