Hi,

In the Custom section of Setting Program Access & Defaults the radio option
button/line to make the existing second browser default, non-default
disappeared.
So, I cannot make my second browser (Mozilla Firefox) default one, if wanted
this way, but I have to go through more steps with the Mozilla's Tools.

The Default is IE. 7.

How do I regain this option?

(The E-mail programs, Media players have those options.)

Thanks
sjb

I've been told that was a "by design" change. You'll need to go into Firefox
and ask it to detect if it's the default browser.

Download firefox_reg.reg from here:
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/temp/firefox_reg.reg

Save the file to your Desktop
Right-click "firefox_reg.reg" and choose "Merge"

Note: In the REG file above, the Firefox.exe file path is hardcoded for C:\. If you have installed Firefox in a different location, edit the ..REG file using Notepad, and change the driveletter accordingly.
