Post subject: Connecting to Windows XP Small Bus Server 2003
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>work_remotely (more info?)

I used to be able to connect from XP at home to the office server. And I
would get my desktop at the office. Now it is not launchable. Other users
are successful from their remote locations. I double checked that the PC is
on at work.

I attempt to go to "Open my desktop at work" and it just flashes "done"
without connecting. I have looked for new firewalls, trusted sites, etc and
cannot find anything. I do get the name of authorized login users.
Selecting a name is unsuccessful.

It keeps asking me about active x and I say yes it says done at bottom of
screen.

I am asked do I trust the computer I am connecting to and it just sits there.

I can read my eMail by backing to that option. That's fine but I want to do
other things too.

Thank you!
