Hi - first, try to lose the 'all caps' ... it means "shouting" and will put
people off.

Secondly, you need a CD burner on your computer. Are you sure you have one?
If so, do you have any burning software that came with it, such as Nero,
etc?

Nero Infotool will tell you the characteristics of your optical drive.
This is version 5.3.3. Install this and run it.

While this screenshot is in the Russian language, you can see
the basic idea. The Infotool has tick boxes, showing all the
optical drive standards your optical drive supports. Check the
tick boxes shown, to determine whether your drive is a
"reader only" or both reads and writes.

While InfoTool is bundled with the commercial Nero package,
the author of the program also makes it available for
download.

Paul
