I'm getting a stop error when I turn the computer on, you know Windows has
stopped, blah, blah, blah. these are the error codes.

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

STOP 0x000000D1 (0x804E2F08,0x000000FF,0x00000001,0xF97EA90B)

ntndis.sys - Address F97EA90B base at F97EA000, DateStamp 44271923

dumped physical memory

I searched, but can't find this exact one, last known good is gone, tried to
get into safe mode to restore to a earlier date, but the start menu and sys
tray is not there. Is there any way to fix with out doing a complete
reinstall? thanks for any help

Hi mclemore1,

The file referenced, ntndis.sys, is a malware-related file.
Check the Technical Details and Solution tabs here:

WORM_SDBOT.FAG
http://www.trendmicro.com/vinfo/virusencyclo/default5.asp?VName=WORM%5...BOT%2EF

Check also the Advanced and Recovery tabs here:

and here:

W32/Forbot-GI

Since you may also have remnants of other malware, I would highly recommend
registering and posting at a forum that is dedicated to malware information
and removal. Here are a few that you could choose from:
