ok, sorry my poor english
I did a drive image (total copy of HD1 to HD2) using driveImage8, 'cause my
HD2 is larger;
after that, using only HD2 now, when win 98 starts and I put my pwd, win xp
imediatelly logoff, even in sefe mode

Your system drive letter is probably wrong. The cure depends on
your setup:
- Is the machine networked, or
- Do you have ready access to another WinXP/2000 PC?
