Vista can't copy files from network share on XPPro

Hello. I just found this thread and I'm having the exact same problem
when trying to copy files from an XP share (running Kaspersky v5) to a
Vista machine. Thank you all!

I was wondering if you (MDaniel) could give a final synopsis of what
the exact problem and solution was. I would also like to know if
version 6 or version 7 of Kaspersky solves the problem?

Right now, I've still got Kaspersky installed and I can't seem to get
around the issue. I stopped the real-time scan, disabled the use of
iStream, then I ran the Kaspersky supplied utility to remove the ADS
info on my c:\ drive which has the share(s) I'm trying to access,
(rebooted after all that) but I still can't get the files to come over.
Hence, I'm asking for a final synopsis of the issue or any further
thoughts.

I've contacted Kaskpersky regarding an update--I never got notified
when they released v6 (which was right after I bought a 3yr license), so
I'm hoping that I can get v7 (which was recentlly released) and my
problem will go away.

Any other thoughts or instructions would be greatly appreciated. I
seached all day before finding this thread--what a god send--I thought I
was going nuts!
