Post subject: Searching AdBlocker which replaces Ads on web pages by 1x1 pixel white image (avoid ugly placeholders)
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windows>inetexplorer>ie6>browser, others (more info?)

There are dozends of so called Ad blockers which prevents the display of ads (ad banners)
on web pages. Another method is avoiding

Unfortunately these tools let the browser display ugly default image placeholders
on the ad locations.

A similar effect has the ad blocking through the hosts file.

I am searching now an ad blocker/filter which not only prevents the fetching of ads from ad servers
but replaces them by an 1x1 pixel size white image.

Does someone know such a smart ad blocking tool ?
