Post subject: Remote Assistance failed to start
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>configuration_manage (more info?)

In the event log I get the following:
Restart the computer in safe mode and
type the following text at the command prompt: sessmgr.exe -service.

Is there anyway you can do that with out starting in safemode? I assume you
go into safe mode to not start a service. Can't you stop that service then
type hte sessmgr.exe -service cmd and restart the a service?
