Post subject: Quicktime reverting Vista to 16-bit Windows Vista Basic theme
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>general (more info?)

So I think what caused this to happen is from my regretful attempt to
get some of the old Myst games working *Myst masterpiece edition +
Riven), and this HAD to install the old version of QT that they used
(can't remember version number). Now since then, whenever I go to do
anything involving quicktime, it set my Vista theme to Vista Basic and
as soon as I close it, it reverts back to the Aero theme.
Not sure what to look for...I've uninstalled all versions of Quicktime
then reinstalled from the web installer. Maybe I need some sort of
registry cleaner but I don't trust many of em.
Just need some suggestions...thanks
