Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>general (more info?)

I was using Vista Ultimate RC1. I just bought a Vista Home Premium and do an
installation over my RC1(full installtion not upgrade). But the problem now
is that after the installation, I cant access/read my other partition. When I
click my other partition, it prompted me to format. I didnot format or delete
any partition during the installation process.

How to recover those data save in my other partition. I cant afford to loss
them. Please help!!!!

Hello "idiot"...

You might try posting this to a VISTA group, for starters.

I had a similar problem with the wife's XP machine and I never did find a
solution or the cause. What I ended up doing was getting all the needed
files off of the partition with data recovery software.

To recover your lost partition and data, you can employee Stellar
Phoenix Windows Data Recovery Software a file and partition recovery
utility which recovers the data from inaccessible hard drive. Stellar
