I have several computers that run Win XP Pro sp2. Some time ago, I setup
ONE of
the computers to use the guest account that REQUIRED A PASSWORD. Now I want
to do the same for my other computers. However, I can only setup the guest
account that requires no password. How do I setup the guest account such
that it requires a password?

Check the link to know how to set password for Guest Account.

http://www.tweakxp.com/article37393.aspx

I don't know why "Gordon" said that turning Guest could be a Security Risk.
Guest account has more less rights than the Limited account. Recently, I
installed 5 new computers at an Internet Cafe and set Guest account as
Default login and till date all of them are working fine.

Hope this help, let us know!

Don't. Don't use the guest account at all for anything. MS Baseline Security
Advisor considers the guest account to be a security risk.
create a Limited User account and call it Visitor, or similar.

Not me that says it - The Microsoft Baseline Security Advisor says it. And I
think you'll find that the security risk, is that anyone with the Guest
account enabled can be hacked by another machine that also has the guest
account enabled.
