I get the same problem. I have 3 xbox360's and it happens on them all. I have
never been able to pin point the problem, It also happened with MCE2005. It
is annoying but luckyily it does not happen all that often but often enough
to be annoying. I have had it happen when first starting the mce or after
hours of use. I have Nothing on my MCE PC except for anti virus and defrag
tool. So I doubt any software is the problem, justr looks to me like aMCE or
extender bug..
