Desktop Icons Bunching

Hello,
My problem, or at least the one pertinent to this newsgroup, is that when I
press autoarrange my desktop incons bunch up tightly together becoming
unusable. Weirdly if I spread them out and the autoarrange option is off but
align to grid is on new icons are created the right distance away... Strange
but true. Any help would be very much appreciated

Hi,

Check in display settings on the appearance tab by right clicking the
desktop and checking properties. You may need to change the vertical and
horizontal icon spacing. Under advanced, you should find them in the
dropdown, I believe the default setting for both is 43.
