Jaymon thanks for being so detailed. I just went through the same issues
that kjknights went through. I installed a 250GB had drive to replace an
older 40GB hard drive that was on it's way out. My current situation is that
the 250 GB HD is partioned so that the OS partition (drive E) has 127 GB and
the new partition (drive F) has 104 GB.

From reading other informtion on the web it seems like its a good idea to
use a small partition for just the OS and program files. So can I reduce the
size of drive E to be say 20 GB and then use that addtional space for a third
parition on the new hard drive?

Also, can I safely change the drive letters so that drive E is Drive C and
Drive F is drive D? Or will this cause problems?
