tomtom doesn't work after ppc2003 upgrade

I upgraded my ipaq 3970 to ppc2003. After that I reinstalled tomtom
navigator in any possible way.
In main memory, on the sd card, in ipaq file store with maps on every
location etc... but I can't getr it to work.
Whenever I start TomTom I get the turning wheel and then it stops like
nothing has happened. If I then start another app the machine will
hang...

Any suggestions anyone????

Firstly the application needs to be in main memory, no place else. I'd then
format your storage card and re-install the map or as a test, remove the
storage card and install a small 16Mb sectional map in main memory. If it
now works, format the storage card and re-install the map.
