What can i safely delete to get more space?

I have an IPAQ with 64 MB memory. My Windows folder is about 54 MB!

If i use Citadel's file explorer there are are reams and reams of files in
the windows folder all with very similar names which do not appear if you
use WM built in file explorer at all.

For example, i have a bunch of files starting msce.dll, mxip (about 20 of
those) RD***** then a list of numbers .dll's. and in the messenging folder a
whole list of .mpb files.

None of them are associated to anything. What can i delete?

Also, i have when i activesync databases for programs that i no longer have
so i know that i can delete those. But activesync won;t let me and i cannot
find the files using citadel file explorer or the built in one.

Any advice please - my system is really running slowly now.......and i don't
want to delete something i shouldn't (and yes i have have made a backup!
)

Most of the files in the Windows directory are in ROM, and can't be
deleted.

To delete internal (CEDB) databases, use the PHM Databases PowerToy -
http://www.phm.lu/Products/PocketPC/PowerToys/. Make sure you are only
deleting databases for programs that no longer exist, and not the
internal system databases (Inbox, Calendar, etc.)
