Post subject: How to remove autoruns
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>pocketpc (more info?)

Hello,

after removing a program I get always an error message after soft reset. The
system seems to seek for the program that no longer exists on the mobile
device. I tried to find the entry using an editor for the mobiles regristry
but was not successful. Can anybody tell me where I can find such an entry?
Its not an entry within the autostart folder.

Andreas,

The startup applications are located in the Windows>Startup directory.

There are quite a few places an app can be started upon rebooting; the
autorun folder (\Windows\Startup) is just one of them and this is why you
haven't found it.
