Hi,

I am having problems sending e-mails from my pocket pc via outlook. I
have an ipaq 1910 and I am having no problems syncing my inbox etc,
but when I compose emails on my pocket pc and sync they disappear from
my ppc but seem to go nowhere.

can anyone tell me what settings I should check and maybe even how to
set up e-mails to eync from start incase I am missing a step?

Thanks a million.

Any e-mails sent via the ActiveSync account in Inbox/Messaging should
be transferred to the Outbox in Outlook, then once sent transferred to
Sent Items.

Same problem here, no sync problems but mail disappears from the outbox on
the SmartPhone and does not appear in the Outlook client "Outbox" or "Sent
items". What is the ActiveSync account.

If you are sending using another account (not ActiveSync), then the
sent message will not appear in Outlook - if you want to keep a copy
on the computer, you'll have to bcc: it to yourself as ActiveSync does
not synchronize sent items back to Outlook. Sorry.

The message still never gets delivered, it just vanishes from the Outbox and
that's it. Any ideas?

So, you create an e-mail in the ActiveSync account (unless you've set
up other POP3/IMAP accounts on the device, this is the only one), then
sync it, and it then appears in the Outbox in Outlook on your computer
and then disappears?

When we do an ActiveSync with the device directly attached to the computer
it works correctly, it puts it in the Outbox then sends it and it appears in
the Sent Items folder. When ActiveSync is done with the server, the message
disappears from the Outbox on the device and never arrives at its
destination. There are no errors on the client and no ActiveSync event
errors on the Exchange server.

If the message appears in Outlook, then ActiveSync has done its duty
and has synchronized it back - is there anything unusual about the
message when you look at it in the Sent Items folder?
