Where to list/promote a program?

If I want to list/promote a shareware program without using PalmGear,
Handango or PDAGreen where should I go?

The reason that I don't want to use PalmGear, Handango or PDAGreen is that
they all requires me to use their shop to sell my program (and they take of
big part of the money), instead I want to use another company that only
handles the registrations and have no listing of programs.

So does anyone have any ideas where I can promote my program without being
required to use their "shop"?
