I had the same problem with my Ipaq2215; and it showed the same symptom at
work and home (I tried the cradle at home in case it was my work PC causing
problems)... it just stopped working one day. Lots of work troubleshooting,
re-installing activesynch, etc... then I managed to get my hands on a
different cradle, and the new one works fine. I'm not sure why the other
cradle went (and stayed) bad, since it was always installed at work, never
moved, and I never messed with the cords or anything, but the bottom line is
my cradle went bad. I'd suggest you test a different cable or cradle before
doing too much else...
