Post subject: Different hotsync problem
Archived from groups: comp>sys>palmtops>pilot (more info?)

I have had several hotsync problems in the past, and I found the
problem here... This one I can't find the answer to

I am using:
Windows 2000
Palm VX
Palm Desktop 4.1
Laptop
Serial Port

When I hotsync, it gets to address book, and then just sits there... I
only have 100 addresses, but even if I wait 2 hours, it just stays on
address. I did a reset of the palm, changed address book to "do
nothing", and it synced fine (skipping address book of course).

Then, I turned set addresses back to "sync", and it just sits there on
address book... any ideas?
Could I have a corrupt address file?
If so, what can I do to not lose all of my data??? Thanks!
