After about 30 hours of frustrating research trying to figure out why my
Outlook 2007 Calendar wouldn't sync with my PocketPC phone, I figured it out!
My configuration is: Vista Home Premium, Outlook 2007, Windows Mobile Device
Center 6.1 and a Verizon SMT5800 running Windows Mobile 6 Standard. I could
sink my Contacts but it wouldn't sync my Calendar. I kept getting the
message, "Desktop synchronization cannot be completed. Reduce your mailbox
size by deleting some items and folders and try again." That message didn't
have anything to do with the problem!!

I solved the problem by changing the view on my Calendar to show All
Apointments and then deleting about 6 duplicate calendar items. I then
sync'd and it ran like a champ. Microsoft should do a better job with their
error messages.
