What is the best fix currently available for wm2003 alarm problems?

I have found software that claims to fix it but doesn't - is there really a
solution?

Do you find you need to have the full power on option selected or is the
timeout options enough?

I do not have this problem, but I've heard that it is better to turn this
option.

My problem was solved without full power on. IPAQ 5550 loaded to the
limit with programs.
