I have purchased and downloaded some DRM protected audio
files. The only way to copy these audio files to my HP
iPAQ 5550 is to use Windows Media Player but my Pocket PC
(running Windows for Pocket PC 2003) is not listed in the
devices to copy to.

The iPAQ is connected via USB and is synching successfully
with Outlook etc, so there is no problem with the physical
connection.

How can I get Media Player to recognize my Pocket PC so
that I can successfully copy files across?

What happens if you just copy the audio files straight into the PPC ?

Bad news. I went the legal route too. The files that you are downloading are
probably wma files rather than mp3. You can only play them on the computer
that you used to download, a limited selection of digital music players and
CD players if you burn the disc.

This is so stupid. They really need to get this at least up to the e-book
standards. At least there, you can register 5 or 6 devices for your
downloads.
