I upgraded to Vista and have to say that for all the MS folks who are on this
board - the process was hard at first (its been a long time since I had to
learn a new OS!) but the Sync Center seems to be a really well done
consolidation/integration of the old activesyn.

ANYWAY - what I'm wondering if its possible to set it up so that my mobile
device stays connected. Right now when I connect my mobile device (HP iPAQ
6900) it syncs properly but then disconnects. There used to be a 'continually
sync' option somehwere in activesync, but I'm not sure how to do that in Sync
Center.

Thanks in advance!

Have you found Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC)? That is really the
software you need to effectively connect a Windows Mobile Device to Vista.
Should keep it connected and syncing.

Yes, that's the software that I'm using now. The device connect properly,
syncs properly, but then disconnects after its done syncing. It stays
physically connected to the computer (I'm using a USB cord and its still
charging) but the computer can't find the device any more.

Any advice?
