Post subject: Cannot connect w/out cradle?
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>pocketpc>developer>networking (more info?)

My SmartClient application works fine when running via the cradle. However,
when i run the app while my device is disconnected from the cradle, i get
connection errors. I am able to navigate the Web just fine when my device is
disconnected from the cradle, hence, my wireless access is setup fine.

My application runs sql server ce and the params that execute the commands
that connect w/ the sql server 2000 on the IIS server use the HTTP protocol,
so i assume that given that IE is working fine.. so should my application??

Any ideas?
