i need help to configure the WM5 emulator for passthrough (i.e. to access
internet from the emulator).
what needs to be done? - since apparently it is not working by default.
i need internet access while debugging on the emulator.

Hi,
first, you need to allow using desktop network card by selecting
appropriate checkbox at File->Configure->Networking page
next, if you're using a proxy inside your network to reach internet,
then just define it in emulator
