I want to create a custom channel to download postings from forums in
webmasterworld.com. I have to login in order to access the forums. Can I do
this with avantgo ?

as far as I know: no. With AG you can only download channels they offer.

No, you can create and download custom channels. You do it somewhere like 'My
Device' at my.avantgo.com.

However, I don't know if AG can log into a forum website. But World off-line
can. It's not free, but it's extremely inexpensive for what it does.

no that info is not correct. You can make custom channels and can even login
to yahoo channels if you can manage somehow to 'trick' the PPC to retain the
pword after syncing .Not sure how to do that but I am certain it can be
done.
