I used to own a Cassiopeia when they first came out and the slow processor
speed drove me crazy! Now that the processor speeds are a bit better, I am
considering re-entering the PDA market.

I am about to begin graduate school and need a PDA that is easy to sync with
Outlook, can view MS Excel and Word documents, has MP3 player, and has
Internet capability (I know the latter may require an optional card). These
are the minimum features that I would like in a PDA.

Are there any recommendations, as there are SO many brands out now...?
Thanks!

Never mind, the supported list is large. Here it is:

On the go, or download from PC?

Which Tungsten model is best for the price? Also, what should I expect to
pay for one?

Also, the Tungsten T2 only has a 144Mhz processor- this seems like it would
bit very slow in completing tasks...? I am very impatient when it comes to
waiting on slow technology. I believe the Cassiopeia that I had was aroundt
his and took FOREVER to open programs and navigate around. Do they make a
faster Tungsten model?

Don't let the processor speed fool you. With Palm OS, it will be much
faster than was your Cassiopeia. Just go to a local store like Best
Buy and check out the Palms and Sonys. For example, I have a Sony SJ30
which runs at 33 mhz and it is quite snappy.

I think maybe you should read up more on the Palm OS platform. You obviously
don't know a lot about it.

I would like a PDA with wireless Internet access (which I believe most will
handle the optional cards now). I am going to check out the Palm OS today
since my state has the "tax holiday" for these items.
