Does anyone know if it's going to be possible to upgrade an HP iPAQ 2215 to
Windows Mobile 5?

Karine,

All of the upgradeable devices from HP can be found at
http://www.clintonfitch.com/wm5/default.asp

The HX21xx, 24xx, 27xx and 47xx are going to have upgrades available.

Regards,

Thanks so much for the link. Bummer so far though because the 2215 isn't
listed.

It never will be. HP declined to offer the PocketPC2003 upgrade for the
2215, they surely won't offer the 2005 upgrade either.

It could have been they didn't see the point when it offered so little,
and when WM5 would be out a year later.

The fact with WM5 and the 2210/15 is that the device just doesn't have
enough ROM to be usable with WM5. Don't forget that from WM5 on storage is
on ROM and all the software/files are placed there. With the amount of ROM
available in the 2210, that would be of very little use.
