No Windows Mobile 2003 SE for IPAQ 1940

Hello all,

according to IPAQabilities (see

HP doesn't plan to release an update for the IPAQ 1940.

I have just bought this device and cannot understand why HP denies it
the enhancements made by Microsoft. The reason (ROM not big enough)
clearly is wrong, since the 1940 has exactly the same amount of ROM as
the 2xxx and the 4xxx.

What do you think? Does anyone know an address at HP to write too?

I had preferred the HP over Mitac, Yakumo, Medion, etc. because I
thought I would be able to benefit from future enhancement and good
customer service.

Am I wrong?

The unfortunate part is that people who are new and not around the PPC
community a lot, do not find out this information until it is too late.
