AT Tilt / WM 6
This is easy although I am not certain this is a Tilt-centered problem.
I regularly sync my Tilt to MS Outlook on my PC (using Pocket Mirror).
All Contacts transfer perfectly - that is not the problem.
My problem is the Filtering in Contacts. That is, I have quite a few
Contacts in the Tilt but I don't want all of them to show when I open
Contacts. To do this, I have assigned a category to each contact that
appears to transfer perfectly from Outlook to the Tilt. I can select
Filter on the Tilt and select the categories I want displayed and this
works perfectly. My problem is every time I sync, the Tilt reverts to
showing all Contacts regardless of category.
How do I (is it possible) to select categories I want displayed by
default and get the filters to 'stick' on sync?

Hello,

The only way to do this would be to put the contacts you want to synchronize
in the main contacts folder and put the ones you do not want to sync in a
sub-folder on your desktop PC. You can't do this from your Windows Phone
itself.

Regards,

I don't think that is what the OP is looking for. That would just not sync
the contacts not in the root folder. I gather he wants all the contacts to
sync, but have the contacts that belong to a specific category, like Work,
be the ones that are always shown when showing contacts, unless ALL, or some
other category is selected. That is, he wants something other than ALL as
the default category for Contacts.

If something like that is possible,. I would guess it would be something
that could be set somewhere in the registry. No idea where though.
