Post subject: Turning on Native device encryption programmatically.
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>pocketpc>developer (more info?)

Hi there

Advance thanks.

I have a windows mobile 6.1 device for which I do c/++ programming
myself. I am interested in turning on the "Native Device Encryption
(not SD card)" thru device manager APIs, if possible. I have heard
about creating a XML inside a cab. But my requirement is thru
porgramming. I have used DMProcessConfigXML() for few device infos/
queries.

Is there a way to turn on the device encryption thru program?

Thank you
Jacob
