I need to do a simple inventory program on the T/C. Can anybody recommend
software to use? Thanks.

I use an open-source database for that on my T/C.
http://pilot-db.sourceforge.net

If you want barcode support, you can use the above database with socket's SD
barcode scanner when released in August, or today with this scanner for a
few dollars less, and the inventory software bundled with it:

If an Excel-type spreadsheet is satisfactory, consider DocumentsToGo

....or JFile v5.5 - can be made to do almost any type of flat-file
database job, including inventories. You can get a desktop program to
go with it, from a different programmer, called JFEdit5. Try Google for
the links, otherwise I could look them up for you after work.

Well, we could just name all the Palm Database apps, but given the minimum
of detail given, I'm not sure we need to jump to non-freeware at this point
until further specifications are mentioned. JFile is a good database, but
so are the others.

Pilot-db for inventory purposes does virtually all JFile does (and in some
cases more), and also has multiple desktop side components, and various
hotsync conduits to Access and other desktop platforms etc.
Docs to Go as a Spreadsheet alternative (previous post) is also a reasonable
suggestion given that it's bundled with his Tungsten C.

.....all good points, and duly noted. The original poster didn't
specifically say he wanted a freebie - I was just giving another
alternative, one that I use all the time and have been very happy with.
