Installed TomTom 2.00 on mi 5450, and get that error message every time.
Tried to install with updated setup.exe file from Tomtom, tried updating to
2.24, tried installing on Storage Card, tried installing with the maps
located in the same folder as the program. Any solutions ?? Checked around
on the internet with no luck....

A customer of mnie had the same when he switched from his Toshiba to a 2210.
What solved the problem was formatting the SD card and reinstalling the maps
on it. (the error message points to no maps found): Does that help?

That error normally occurs when you have not yet installed any maps. If you
have installed maps and they are on a storage card then the next suggestion
would be to format your card and re-install the maps.

In you my documents folder there is a folder for tom tom. erase the
folder and tom tom should work ok. Generally this problem is caused by a
corrupt config file in that directory. Unfortunately you will also lose
all customization with this fix.

Darren;

Here is some information from the TOMTOm website"

Question
I cannot install the maps onto my Pocket PC . I get an error message
"Cannot determine location of data. Please re-install data and/or
application"

Answer
Before installing maps, you need to check their sizes and whether
you have enough free space in the internal memory of your Pocket PC.

Your Pocket PC manual will give you instructions on how to increase
storage memory if you want to so.

If you do not have sufficient memory, or cannot free up sufficient
memory on your Pocket PC, you should purchase an external memory card and
install the maps on this card.

cannot install maps if the storage space is not sufficient..:" Wink))
