Symbol wireless = no Internet?

OK, I'm very confused. I pulled my HP Jornada 568 out of a box recently and
want to get it working with my Symbol Wi-fi card. Downloaded the latest
Symbol drivers -- so far so good.

Nice strong signal. I can get to anything I want on my local LAN (Linksys
WRT54G wireless router). I can even remotely control my XP Pro machine with
Terminal Services, so I know it's physically working.

But I cannot get on the internet with Pocket IE.

It gets no connection found and the settings button only allows me to
configure modems!

How the heck do I get this to work?

Sounds like a Connection Manager issue. The device is running the PPC 2002 OS, right? If so look at
Chris De Herrera's Connection Manager FAQ for help...
