I am trying to send a .jpg picture to my Sony Clie sj30 via IR. After
the transfer is finished my Clie gives a message saying the file is an
unknown format and it is not saved. Does anyone know a solution for
doing this?

The Palm OS allows only a few file types to be stored in RAM and JPEG isn't
one of them.

You'll have to try something like PalmRAMDisk. Or I believe McFile might
allow you to beam something straight to a memory card.

PalmRAMDisk

McFile

Hope this helps,

I recommend McFile. Note that you must have McFile open while receiving the
files to get it to work. Also, you can ONLY save files to the memory card.
