I am considering purchasing an HP 4355. I noticed one at Circuit City for
$499.

I also checked ebay and found someone that is selling 50 reburbed 4355. I
don't have any problems with purchasing a refurb that has a 1 year factory
warranty, my real question is why does this guy have 50 of them?

Is there a problem / flaw with this particular model? or is it just a
coincidence that this person has 50 of them (personally, I feel there is a
greater chance of this being an ebay scam than a bad hp design, so I figured
I would ask the advice of this newsgroup).

Any reasons to stay away from this model (HP 4355)??

Thank you in advance,
TR

Mobile Planet has it for $426.00

I recently got one and I'm extremely happy with it. So far, no bugs or
annoyances and much better battery life that any other iPAQ.

Very good question... This model is almost brand new, so I can't
imagine how such a large quantity of 'refurbished' units could be
available. I'd stay away.

You'll love the 4350/4355 (Same unit, just different marketing
channels).

I have owned Just about every PDA that started with Windows CE (Nec 400) up
to the new ones.
I got the 4355 as I liked the idea of a backlighted keyboard and large
battery (1560 maH).

Love the unit ! No setup to access the local Wifi links that are all over
the place here, great battery life, the alarms always work, unit is fast and
excellent screen. No complaints on this one, HP/Compaq did a good job.
