I seam to have a problem opening a Network Share over a VPN, or infact when PC Connected. It comes back to me with 'The network path was not found' and then Network resource cannot be found or you do not have permissions...etc etc... Contact your network administrator'

This wouldnt be so much of a problem except I am the Network Adminsitrator.

It is not name resoilution as I can connect to the web site by server name, and I know that the share is there. In the past the PPC has prompted for username and password, but it doesn't in this case.

There seams to be very little that I can see that may make this fail. Can anybody point me in the direction of any tests I can do to shed any light on the solution.

Thanks in advance.

You won't be able to connect to network shares over the PC
cradled-connection. It doesn't support the protocol.

I'm not sure what's going on with the failure over VPN, but it may be name
lookup. I believe that network share name resolution goes over NetBT
broadcast which may be getting dropped over VPN.
