Hello, we run our email in house from Exchange 2003 Server SP2
We have a Qtek 9100 with windows mobile 5.0 i believe.
We can download emails just fine on the Qtek, but when you try to send
one, it gives you this message:
"Error
Certifcates Missing
Your message 'test' was not sent and has been moved to the Drafts
folder.
Certificates are not available for the following recipients or for one
or more members of the following distribution lists:
matt RemoveThis @mydomain.com"
It used to work, I am unsure what to do to try to fix it. SSL is turned
off on the Qtek, we dont use certificates either so I am assuming its
turned off on the server. |

I have a similar problem sending or replying to email, with an error
message stating; "invalid recipient"
No clue how to solve this...

I tried this on another mobile 5.0 phone using a test account and it
seemed to work fine.
Im thinking I can try the test account on the phone with a problem and
see if that works.
May have to remove the user account in Active Directory and remake it
possibly, or possibly mirror the settings with the test account...
hmm...ill post back

Hi,
I might have a solution for you. I was getting the same error message
and it turned out to be me playing around with my phone, and turning
something on that I shouldn't have.
I fixed it by going here (WM 6.1, might be different for you):
Start --> ActiveSync --> Menu --> Options --> Highlight "E-mail" under
"Microsoft Exchange" and click "Settings..." --> Advanced... -->
Un-check "Encrypt all outgoing email messages".
I know this is an old post, but it might give someone a quick solution
in the future.
Cheers,
Mike
